Episode U

Finally... I can post my last adventures in the new content we recently had. I'll first start with the stats reroll. There were so many combinations possible for my Elf and Mage! I went to test server to see what would be best for me. I was wondering if I should still have Str on Meph.. since I heard spells were going to take less mana and do more damage. Well I ended up with 13 Str, 16 Con, 18 Int and 13 Wis base. Weird stats huh? well o.o in the base stats bonus table, I found out, 13 Str would give me +2 hit and +2 dmg to melee and since I like hunting with a staff, I wanted those bonuses :P and I would still have more HP than I had before and 18 Int base. Only downside is my mana... at least I added to Wisdom from level 51 to 59 for the MR bonus because I wanted cancel proof for pvp and extra MP reggain with mana pots :D I also added 3 points in Str and I had 2 Elixirs, I used them in Int.

This is my mage wearing melee set, PG, Staff of Force + Str/Dex spells and AS, total of -71 AC buffed.

I was using my Int/reggain set, Merk Cap, Lich Robe, Reaper Hand, Int T-Shirt and DE sandals, maximum of -45 AC with Shield spell and Bless Armor.

For S1nMaster, I really had no clue what to do. I was a full Wis Elf before updates and I liked it but since I had the opportunity to change my stats to whatever I wanted, I decided to try something different. I tried a Dex elf on test and I was surprised by their killing speed. I thought a Dex/Int elf could be a good combo for anywhere. So I did, 17 Dex and 14 Int base. I went for Int base for the magic accuracy and the spell critical % over the -1 AC from 18 Dex. I added 1 point in Dex at lvl 51 for the AC bonus and I will go full Int from now :)

That time, I was using Bless of Elm and Int amulet and also had Str/Dex spell casted :) Lvl 52 is gonna rock with new poly and 16 Int o_o!

For ZenSworD, I only had 1 choice. Since I use Devil's Knife, I lose 7 hp every 2-3 seconds so being 18 Con base with the stats renewal would give me 4 more hp reggain and over 900 hp at lvl 53 so I decided to stay Con on my prince :P It kinda suck because all the other melee classes hurt a lot more, most of them went full Str base =/ oh well, I'm used to be weak o_o!

Nothing particular on Zen, just PG and Str amulet :P I had Str/Dex on as well!

I won't talk about the new mini-games, I'm not a big fan of those ones q_q but I gotta admit the new Death Matches are interesting. At least we still make exp and cash and it's possible to make a Seal of Victory from the Hero's Marks. You will receive a total of 25 Hero's Marks by killing the 3 bosses inside the DM and it requires 500 Marks to make the Seal. I think I was one of the first players to do the new DMs after updates. I remember we were only 4 peoples to participate at the Werldern DM lol but we stood untill the end :P We didn't know we had to kill the Bosses to receive the marks.. oh well still fun to see his name on the ranks board o.o!

Now for the new hunting areas, we went to Ice Queen Castle and Ant Caves. It is a lot harder now... in IQ Dungeon 2-3F , you must need at least 3-4 persons to go with you, the IQ Royal Guards hurt o_o but they can also drop good sometimes :P

We found the new version of Ice Queen, she looks nice and she is so MUCH easier to find her now lol.. just really hard or almost impossible to get to her alone, you gotta kill plenty of guards. So we killed her and the drops weren't so bad.

We also visited the new Ant Caves. I gotta say, it's pretty amazing to hunt down there. Spawn is awesome, exp is decent and the drops can be good from hatching eggs but I didn't see Ant Queen yet =/ but anyway here is a picture to proove what I said earlier about the good spawn o.o

So in overall, I think Episode U is cool. I really enjoy my new stats and I like those 2 new places. More peoples will go to the DMs and to the Sieges also, since you don't lose % anymore when you die. Wizards are fun to play now since most spells take less mana to cast but few of them like MS, Fire Storm and EQ has a longer delay than before, it kinda suck. And the worst thing about the new Episode is probably the new death penalty... 4.5% loss on deaths is fucking gay... I only died once but it was due to lag and I don't feel like spending my money for buy-back. Anyway, I hope they will change it one day but for now, I'm being careful :)

I swear this is the last post before I start talking about the new episode :D I just miss hunting bosses! o_o So we'll start with Iris, DL found her up and asked for backup so I came!

Zombie Lord

This is the richest ZL I have killed alone so far, Nzel, Bzel, Bdai and almost 30k Adena :D but I'm pretty sure I can't solo it anymore with new summons q_q

Faruuk

It was the first time I killed Faruuk without my summons, he is pretty easy :P I just hate when he cancels me -.- Nzel, Ndai and TQD, those drops aren't spectacular but still better than nothing ;)

The Reward

Everytime I level up, I'm going to Oum Dungeon to sell my pots and scrolls because the NPC down there buy for more than normal stores. I usually make a decent amount of $_$ but this time... I really had more pots than usual o.o



If you can't see clearly, I made a total of 8.6m v_v Money in the bank :D!

Level up!~

Before the new episode, I tried to get rid of some of my items. I wanted to sell all my HP gear and go for AC instead because everyone would have more base HP with the stats reroll. So I sold my Cloak of Death, my +7 Gloves of Protection and someone was only gonna buy my +6 Tarak's Boots if I added +8 BoE and +8 E-TS in the deal so I accepted. I tested an Elf on the test server.. and their heals have been reduced by half.. I was like wth, they are going to suck so bad.. so I decided to sell all my elf stuff on Ken. Well at least they fixed it and the heals are the same now but I had no more items on S1n aside of my +9 ES, +9 BG and ALA... After few days, I traded my +9 Ancient Bowgun for a CoI, +7 Devil's Crossbow and +8 BG. With all the money I get, I bought a pair of +8 Iron Boots, a +5 Lich Robe, a Reaper Hand, I traded my +7 Silver Cloak for a Robe of Dread Queen (good and light AC robe for Meph) and finally, I bought a +7 Cloak of Mana and I still had about 150m left in storage (I was saving for a +10 Devil's Knife for Zen). With all those new items, I was lvling so fast in TOI 51F+ :) and I reached level 62 v_v

I now got an AC set and a reggain set for my mage :)

BP hunt - TOI 41-50F

It was wednesday and right after maintenance, I wanted to go hunt somewhere in TOI with BP mates :P Everyone agreed with 41F but we needed a good balanced team to keep up with the spawn :D Myself on S1n, Messias, S0ULMage and Hellsmagx made a party and met on 41f... but we were not ready for this...

We couldn't expect so many dragons at entrance o_O but we managed to kill all of them! The plan was easy, me and Messias were taking all the damage while the mages heal us. After 15-20 minutes, Hells had to leave unfortunately =/ but we slowly made our way to the last floor. Once on 50F, we found out.. the spawn was too crazy and 2 elves couldn't kill fast enough so I logged on Meph and we killed everything on the screen in few seconds ;)

We had a really amazing hunt :) and if I remember well, we get 1 bzel, 1 bdai and few nzels/ndais + all the spellbooks, gems and pots =D

I must say all the screenshots coming were taken before updates! It became harder to solo bosses now that it takes more charisma to have 2 good summons =/ Anyway so far... all the bosses we killed droped CRAP =.= Oh well... enjoy these old screenshots :)

Too many pine wands!

I usually grab all the pines on DI but I realised we had already 100+ in BP storage! I had to get rid of them so we could put more junks in it o.o I saw someone in Werldern doing this trick. You get close to the dwarves mercenery squad and you pine into them so that way, they can't move and can't hit you (aside of skeleton archers) and then you just kill them with Firestorm :D



I can't remember how many wands I used but I made 0.20% :) It works well and it's easy exp/adena but be careful of the elders o_o you must need ITH if you pine too much!

Lucky gems =D

I saved up a total of 100 gems of each kind and went to Karif to gamble them.

I teleported to Werldern and stood by the dwarf and I started to double click the pouches... I was holding the hotkey untill I see this line o_o!

My first valuable item from pouches :) I made a PG with it and easely sold them 1.3m. Oh and I also get 25 Rough Silvers, 7 Platiniums, 12 Rough Golds, almost 100 Magic Gems and like 30 Rough Mithril $_$ :D
